Although this story is set in a cold, frozen setting, it is far from freezing. It’s hot! Morgan Q. O’Reilly has written a story that is full of sexual tension, magic, action and a hero to drool over. Her heroine is a woman that readers will enjoy reading about. Just how Gunnar wins this lady is a joy to read. This author captures her readers from the first page and doesn’t let them go throughout the story. It’s a tale the reader will want to have some time for because she won’t stop until it’s finished. This reviewer enjoyed this story greatly and can see that Ms O’Reilly is a name to watch and hopes that another story will be out soon from this talented author.

Morgan Quinn O’Reilly has written a hot story with a lot of emotion, packed with some really toe curling sex scenes that will leave the reader breathless. Ms. O’Reilly gives her readers a hero that will have them panting and wanting their own Shane. This reviewer recommends that the reader be sure to have someone or something available for their own relief after reading this sensuous romance. It is certainly a joy to see how Devyn changes from an insecure woman to a strong, capable one. She stands up to her ex and shows everyone that she can be what she wants to be. Shane is perfect for her, drawing her out and letting loose her passion. Ms O’Reilly, this reviewer wants to see more stories from your talented pen!

Set against the backdrop of Anchorage, Alaska during the long summer days.

The chemistry between these two [Devyn and Shane] is so hot I don’t think there will be any snow in Alaska this winter. This is a great book with a lot of laughs that just keep coming. It is a perfect blend of hot, sizzling romance and comedy.

At 25,000 words Halo in her pocket is a quick, sexy read. The author does some fun stuff with angel/devil analogy and I felt it gave a good sense of place. The sexual tension is well done.
